January Underground Update

With the new year, I present to you the inaugural edition of the Underground Update! Hear what’s coming out from the world of metal and hardcore in the Bay Area (and beyond).

METAL:

Dennis Is Dead from Union City (my hometown!) recently released a music video for the song “The Inner Circle” from their Close to Home EP. Check them out on Facebook!

Dissipate from Livermore have recently debuted the track “Motion.” Check it out for some serious progressive shredding. Check them out on Facebook!

HARDCORE:

Maya Over Eyes from San Jose have posted a preview of the track “Union” from their upcoming album Rebel Alliance. Check them out on Facebook!

Days of Struggle, all the way from Tijuana, Mexico released their debut album Ideas in October. Great dudes, great musicians. Check out their music video for the song “Reasons to Smile.” Check them out on Facebook!

San Francisco’s own, Alcatraz released their album Smile Now Cry Later in November. Straight up, in-your-face hardcore. Click here to stream the album. Check them out on Facebook!
