February Underground Update

It’s February! You know what that means: Valentine’s Day, Presidents Day, Black History Month, and most important of all…another edition of the Underground Update!

First off, we have Forty Winters from Coral Springs,  FL. They’re not from the Bay Area, but their awesomeness makes that irrelevant. They just released a music video for their song “King Me.” If you live on the East Coast, make sure to catch them on the “East Post” tour, and check them out on Facebook!

Next, we have Leaders, from Hollister, CA. They just got signed to Facedown Records, and their album drops March 27th. Peep the song “Conviction.” Also, Check them out on Facebook!

Sacto hardcore mainstays Hoods recently released a video for their song “Night Rider.” Check them out on Facebook!

Also from Sacramento, Havenside have recently released the song “Resilient” from their upcoming album Nemesis. Check them out on Facebook!

San Francisco punk rockers, Heartsounds, recently released a video for their song “Unconditional.” Make sure you have some Faygo handy. Interestingly enough, the band features members from former Bay Area metal band Light this City. Check them out on Facebook!

Eidola have released a video featuring their history as a band, as well as a glimpse of the recording process at The Panda Studios for their upcoming release Companion. Check them out on Facebook!

Finally, if you haven’t heard, former Darkest Hour members Kris Norris and Ryan Parrish have started a new band called A Cancerous Affair. The band also features members of Annihilator, Threat Signal, and Winds of Plague. Check out their introduction video, as well as their Facebook.
